Happy Vintage Thursday everyone!
I happened to come across this photograph while perusing www.guardian.co.uk a few months ago. I was taken by the lighthearted carefree mood of the picture and the obvious intimate, conspiratorial air between the subjects. It just so happens that the lovely golden haired lady, still very elegant though only garbed in only a simple bathrobe, happens to be film legend, Marilyn Monroe. The shirtless, sun bronzed gentleman in the hat is none other than movie icon, Tony Curtis. The photo was taken during the filming of the movie, 'Some Like It Hot' in 1958. It is reported that though the two were married other other people, they became embroiled in a torrid affair during the filming of the movie. Can you tell just looking at the picture?
