As you know we love to revisit some of the resort shows for inspiration and must-haves. We first shared the Chanel Spectacular at Versaille and now we move on to another of our HAUTE PARADISE favorites, the Ferragamo 2013 Resort Collection.
It was the first time the Louvre had permitted the use of the indoors for a fashion show, and it appears in recognizing the importance of this decision, all parties involved certainly rose to the occasion. Ferragamo's designer, Massimiliano Giornetti, now in his twelfth year with the company after first joining the company as menswear designer, showcased his technical and design expertise as well as his commitment to producing and highlighting only the most superior quality in Italian design. An elite list of fashion who's-who were flown it to sit alongside the almost endless catwalk constructed within the recesses of the what is considered to be the Vatican of the art world, to appreciate the work of a master.
