Sanibel Island, FLORIDA
This video was shot a few years ago but I am always impressed by a great fireworks show and this was one of them. Sanibel Island is a beautiful barrier island located off the southwest coast of Florida, and one of my favorite places to escape for the July 4th holidays. What makes this tops among my list of vacation destinations is because it somehow manages to maintain a delicate balance between development and environmental preservation. Not only popular for it's gorgeous shell beaches, it is also an environment friendly retreat with more than half of the island is made up of wildlife refuges. Whenever I visit, I make sure to visit the Sanibel Historical Village and variety of other museums and theaters on the island.
Each year there is a host of evening cruises along the pristine San Carlos Bay, enabling an obstructed view of the majestic red white and blue fireworks show. We wanted to give your own view of the spectacular just in case you do not have an opportunity to visit.
