Iconic beauty brand Max Factor teams up with Stars Wars to create its most fantastically futuristic make-up collection to date!
To coincide with the hotly anticipated new installment in the Star Wars franchise,Episode VII – The Force Awakens, beauty brand Max Factor has decided to partner with the iconic film and create an even more iconic make-up range.
Max Factor revealed its surprise collaboration on Instagram, stating: “Get ready to awaken your #GlamourForce and explore your Light side and Dark side! We’re very excited to reveal that Max Factor is make-up partner for #StarWars Episode VII: The Force Awakens. Following the silver screen legacy of our make-up maestro, Mr. Max Factor, our Global Creative Design Director, @patmcgrathreal created Max Factor ‘Light and Dark’ make-up artistry looks inspired by the film. Legendary make-up artist, and Fashion Week fave, Pat McGrath is the genius behind the six looks created for the limited edition make-up collection, inspired by key themes in the film. If you’re not a Star Wars fan fear not as the looks are surprisingly versatile and wouldn’t look out of place in a 1970s-inspired style. The eyeliner on one of the models is very Twiggy-esque.
“Make-up is all about transformation and self-expression, and – with the looks inspired by the film – Max Factor will celebrate the gorgeous, awe-inspiring glamour of each look, helping women recreate this glamour themselves,” said Esi Eggleston-Bracey, Vice President of Global Cosmetics at P&G.
The Star Wars collection is due to launch alongside the Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens film in December 2015!
