As you all are aware I am a fervent believer that the traditional fashions of a group of people can reveal a myriad of valuable information. I love how these pictures somehow manage to convey a sense of the fiery multi-faceted nature of the Cuban people. The love of layered textures and accessories, and the incorporation of natural resources like the beautiful hibiscus adorning the hats of these fearless fashion Grand Dames speaks volumes.
