We love blogs! We're not haters or like some of those stuffy, high-browed, ME, ME, ME blogs, (although everyone has their place), that focus solely on the world as it relates to them. No. One of our primary missions at Haute Paradise was to showcase other blogs that had a substantive artistic message, regardless of genre. Though sometimes we do stray and poke fun, our genuine aim, and one of the main reason Haute Paradise came into existence, was to bring awareness to those blogs and bloggers with real photographic and/or audience value, that can sometimes get lost in the overwhelming virtual shuffle that is the internet.
MORE INSIDE
When we came across Moroccan based stylist, personal shopper and blogger, Louis Philippe De Gagoue, we recognized immediately that this blog was one of the main reasons we wanted there to be a "Haute Paradise". From the start we realized that this was not just 'fashion blogging', but a creative indulgence from the perspective of a visual master. More than that, it was blogging with a subtle social message. But you have to "get it", and we did. Louis, in collaboration with a few absolutely fantastic photographers such as, Raphael Liais du Rocher and Yasmine Hatimi, create photographs rich with vibrant artistic layers. Our team spent hours perusing this curators photographic heaven, making our personal picks as to which groupings we loved best. I won't go on and on, you can visit for yourself and pick yours.

Paradise in Black an White

Except for those that predate the invention of color film, we really do not see many black and white photos being taken any longer, especially any taken in the tropics. I think one of the reasons is that most subjects tend to feel that the details and overall impact of the photo is better highlighted through color. Louis shows us that is certainly not the case by utilizing color, pattern, texture and style contrasts, to still make a visual impact.
