F ROYAL PALM OMNIMEDIA: TOP FIVE Things We Loved This Week!

TOP FIVE Things We Loved This Week!

1. A Little Bling

So loving this map of Jamaica necklace from Yard Girl Jewelry. Hanging
delicately from an 18 inch rhodium plated chain, this pink enamel  symbol
of Paradise is the perfect way for the dedicated Jamaican Princess to show
the Island some love.  The designer placed a little jewel to spotlight where
the jewel of the island, Kingston, would be located.

2.   Summer Song

We've been a fan of Brazilian superstar Michael Franti since his hit, "Say Hey" served as our Summer 2009 theme song.  He recently released a new inspirational 'summer banger' "I'm Alive" last month it's been blasting throughout our offices ever since.  It's energetic, motivational and we're positive it will be another Michael Franti hit.  Have a listen:

3.   Summer Sanctuary
Lonny Magazine counted beautiful Port Antonio, Jamaica among it's list of top places for a vacation getaway.  I've mentioned my love of my home country from time to time but this editorial really showcases why Jamaica is not only the land of my birth, but my Eden on Earth.  The Trident Hotel was the chosen destination and there are not enough words to describe just every breathtaking paradisaical perfection that describes the resort.  Take a look for your self!

Zac Zac Posen Satchel -

Eartha Top Handle Embossed Python

I know we are in the midst of summer but my eyes are still glancing towards Fall.  Though have been focus on having fun in the sun, I'm still taking a  look on all the Fall shows for those cool items that fit the concept of "My Fall Look".  I spotted this amazing poppy colored Z by Zac Posen satchel at Bloomingdale's and decided it was the perfect handbag for a Summer to Fall transition.  It's elegant without being to matronly and the shape reminds of the art-deco portion of Collins Avenue in Miami.  Red has always been one of my colors and the peek-a-boo python adds an exotic twist.

5.   Have A Seat!

Isola Wicker Arm Chair

I've ordered four of them and after a heavy bast of white paint, and the addition of some custom cushions in a fabulous, (yet hardy),  fabric, they'll be the perfect addition to my veranda. I can see me and my girls relaxing on a warm Sunday evening, just enjoying a cool Caribbean Breeze, legs curled underneath us and a cocktail in our hands toasting to great times.
