Champagne bottles were popped in style to celebrate Veuve Clicquot‘s launch of its newest brand, Veuve Clicquot Rich, on Monday night at an exclusive Star Island residence with Gabrielle Union. The actress and wife of Miami Heat’s Dwyane Wade attended the event in fashion sporting an army green jumpsuit ensemble with a trendy wide-brimmed hat. Union had a ball with her girlfriends while sipping on her cocktail of choice, a cucumber-infused Clicquot Rich.
Formulated in honor of Madame Clicquot’s sought-after fine champagnes, Clicquot Rich embodies all the essences of the Veuve’s long-lasting history in creativity, versatility, and originality. The rich and sweet blend mirrors the times of the past when Russian royalty considered Madame’s sweetest champagnes the finest of them all. They would even add more sugar to sweeten them!
The house of Veuve Clicquot brought out all the works to introduce the label to influential and star-studded guests with a Miami soiree that continued into the night with sounds by DJ Ruen and projections of the feature film “Cocktail” on the side of the estate. Mixologists did not let any glasses go empty as they experimented with different variations throughout the evening while guests congregated inside and outdoors on the luxurious poolside patio. Among the invitees were Annie Vasquez, Simonett Pereira, Amanda Tur, and of course Gabrielle Union. Guests caught glimpses of her snapping photographs in the photo booth.

Miami served as the perfect launch site for the Clicquot Rich cuvĂ©e, and Florida is the only state, at the moment, retailing “Rich” at select wine and liquor stores. Veuve Clicquot Rich will hit the rest of the U.S. in 2016, but for now, Floridians get the first dibs of the champagne at a retail value of $63.00.
