Carnival Queen
They are the pictures everyone is talking about. The visual stream posted at Instagram by her Royal Gorgeousness, AKA Rihanna, (as well as by other sources), depicting the pop superstar donned in Island finery, jubilantly partaking in the annual revelry that is CARNIVALE!
The photos are simply beautiful as you can see for yourself. The proud Island Gyal gives any Victoria Secret Angel a run for her money in a barely there angelic white carnival costume complete with matching crowning glory head piece. The singer who recently unveiled what her hair looks like un-coiffed and 'au naturale', looked beautiful wearing her hair in a low loose curl style that framed her features perfectly.
The one thing that has been a little annoying to me has been some of the response to Rihanna's grinding and gyrating form being captured in various stages of calypso dancing excitement. I do believe everyone is truly entitled to their opinion, but I do want to say, "It's an Island ting, you wouldn't understand." I can assure you if you spend any extended amount of time in paradise, like the rest of us, you'll be grinding and gyrating to Calypso too.
